Licensed Realtor Bringing You Big Island Homes

About Me

During my first trip to Hawaii in 1976 I knew immediately that this state was a place where I ultimately wanted to live. I made several other trips to Hawaii and by 1992 I was ready to buy. Originally I was planning to buy a condo on Kauai, but Hurricane Iniki diverted me to the Big Island where I bought a condo in South Kona. Since that time I have also lived in Kohala, Waimea and now on Hawaii’s beautiful gold coast just north of Kona.

Born and raised on a cattle ranch in Nevada, I have always had a love for the outdoors. My first career took me down the path of the mining industry, and I have a master’s degree in mining engineering. I have always been a trailblazer, being the first woman in the mining industry to lead publicly traded companies and undertake major projects. My business experience is extensive and has covered many facets over the years. I have had to deal with a lot of operational and financial issues such as borrowing and lending large sums of money for projects and acquisitions, working with legal counsel, and dealing with public stock markets. I have served as a director of a number of large companies.

I have received a number of awards over the years for my professional work. I am a past Rotarian and have served on many non-profit boards. In 1999 I built my own home in which I now live with my husband Richard. My two children have both graduated from Hawaii Preparatory Academy in Waimea thus I can advise families that are relocating about the schools and choices on the Big Island for education. With their varsity sports activities I was able to travel to almost every town and high school on the island for their competitions. I have held a contractor’s license in another state and so I am experienced in looking at homes from a technical perspective including functionality, construction level, and remodeling possibilities to create value. I have worked with numerous architects, contractors and subcontractors in the construction business on the Big Island.

My hobbies include working out, swimming, biking, participating in triathlons on this beautiful island and real estate investing. I am available to serve the needs of my clients seven days a week.

With my past corporate experience, construction knowledge, financing knowledge and an excellent understanding of varied locations on this island I believe that I can serve you from a true business perspective to make your Big Island real estate buying or selling experience pleasant and productive.
